CH 1: In My Remains

For thousands of years on the large island of Crusau there lived eleven elements; Arcane, Death, Earth, Fire, Ice, Lightning, Life, Nature, Shadow, Water, and Wind. These elements have been governed by their respective Gods and Goddesses for many generations. Not all of them have been around since the dawn of time. Some used to be mortals chosen by one of the Gods or Goddesses to take their place. Although there are eleven Gods and Goddesses, there is only one God or Goddess that rises above the rest of them; the God of Gods.

Elor was the previous God of Gods before he stepped down. In doing so he had to choose another wolf to take his place. He noticed Xaithai of the Wind pack doing exceptionally well in her elemental studies and doing everything she could to help out her fellow wolf even though she was an Omega. Elor admired her pure spirit and came to her one night to grant the young female his power.

When the deed was done Xaithai immediately went to work on gathering up her own band of Gods and Goddesses. Most them were her family, but only the ones she thought deserved the titles. She traveled to The Scarred Wasteland to find her cousin, Zekr. Xaithai granted her cousin the powers over Death in hopes she wouldn't abuse them. The Goddess of Gods was oh so wrong.

Not long after Xaithai left for a new territory did Zekr begin her tyrannical reign over the wolves of Death. Zekr began a war with her cousin Choat, the recently appointed Goddess of Life. New of the war spread like wildfire across the island and sides began to be drawn in the sand. Xaithai tried to keep what little peace between the elements there was alive. It was a futile effort, Zekr's reign of Death was close to a boiling point.
